Student Research

NHSSAA provides opportunities for high school students to share their research in sports analytics.

If you’re interested in submitting to the National Summit in the future, please see the submission criteria below.

Four students will present their research at the National High School Sports Analytics Summit 2025.

Submission
Criteria 

1.

Presenter must be a high school student. Help from non-high school students is permitted. Only 1 submission per author is allowed.

2.

Submission must include a well-defined research question, data sources, methodology and clear findings.

3.

Exact timing per presentation will be determined once the schedule is finalized. Assume roughly 10 minutes but it may change. Research must be in the form of slides and include the following: Title page, Abstract, Methodology, Results and Discussion.

4.

Student research presentations will be selected by peers on our National Summit Organizing Committee.
